Resurfacing for 2018…

So 2018 has been very quiet in the online arena of my life, at least in terms of blogging.

So much as transpired in real life, or as the young generation shorten it – IRL. Here is a snapshot:

  1. March:
    1. A change in employment status – saying farewell to a full-time employee-based work lifestyle.
    2. Embark on a three-week holiday to Malaysia, with the focal point being my cousin’s wedding.
  2. April:
    1. Embraced contract work, and with it – yes the higher pay, but also the danger of no work, no pay.
    2. Health dramas for both my Dad & myself – I broke my leg!
  3. May:
    1. A month-long period of home confinement – no driving allowed for both myself or my Dad. Thankfully the family and church family provided invaluable support.
  4. June:
    1. Rehabilitation with the physiotherapist
    2. Birthday celebrations
    3. Surprise Proposal/Engagement
  5. July:
    1. The commencement of wedding preparation season, visiting reception venues
    2. Website consolidation – claytonchurch.org.au
    3. Car Sale #1 – friend’s Hyundai i30
  6. August:
    1. Marysville Weekend Retreat
    2. General medical follow-ups
  7. September:
    1. Car Sale #2 – Dad’s VW Golf GTI
    2. Website consolidation – cafecare.org.au
    3. Website consolidation – loveloud.org.au

Each one of these items can be expanded out into full-blown blog posts… some events will definitely be on my list for write-up.

As part of this surfacing and return to the blog, one major change in my policies and impact here to both niclee.com.au AND xbop.com.au is the fact that as part of ensuring the financial viability, I have chosen to accept the placements of advertisements on both websites, initially as a trial.

XBOP services have been utilised in recent months to ensure a consistent and low-cost solution for the three Clayton Church online spaces. New plans and ideas are constantly growing both XBOP and niclee.com.au so continue to watch and journey with me as we close out 2018 and head on into 2019.
